Final Community Workshop

For the past year, the Warren Heritage Communities Program Stakeholders Group in coordination with the Pennsylvania Route 6 Alliance has been working on a Community WorkPlan keyed to enhancing Warren as a tourism destination along historic Pennsylvania Route 6 corridor. During this period community workshops, focus group sessions, field work, and other research has been carried out identifying the issues and opportunities facing Warren to better position itself as a destination on this corridor, and recommendations have been made that build on the many unique characteristics of Warren.

At this time, a final Community Workshop is scheduled to review the findings and recommendations of the Warren Community WorkPlan. The workshop will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 9 AM at the Hampton Inn on Market Street Extension Warren. All those interested in enhancing the Warren region as a tourism destination along the Route 6 corridor are encouraged to attend.
